Description

If you're new to snowmobiling, don't worry. This two-hour snowmobile ride is the perfect introduction. You'll start in the wide-open Camp Hale valley, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and endless trails. Before heading out, you'll get a full rundown on how to handle your machine and a quick map overview so you know where you're going. It's easy to learn, even if you've never tried it before.

Once you're ready, you'll take off across smooth, groomed trails that wind through quiet forests and open meadows. The air is crisp, and the snow under your sled makes a low, steady hum as you move. The higher you climb, the wider the views get—until you're looking out over the Sawatch and Gore Ranges. These spots, like Ptarmigan Pass and Machine Gun Ridge, are local favorites for good reason.

With the freedom to stop whenever you like, take a few photos, stretch, or enjoy the silence, this snowmobile ride is all about you. The snowmobiles are not only comfortable but also easy to control, with heated handgrips to keep your hands warm. Whether you're riding solo or sharing with a friend, you can go at your own pace and explore the terrain that interests you most. It's an adventure designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

Most people come away saying it's one of the most peaceful yet exciting things they've done in the mountains. You don't need to be an expert—dress warm, follow the trails, and enjoy a couple of hours in one of Colorado's most beautiful backcountry areas. It's a mix of fun, fresh air, and stunning mountain views that's hard to beat.
