Description
If you're an ATV enthusiast looking for a unique and challenging experience, this morning ride is designed just for you. We'll journey into the High Rockies for about two hours of trail time, conquering steep climbs, rocky paths, and a few tight turns that'll keep you focused and grinning the whole way, in a setting that few get to experience.
Before we set off, your guide will equip you with the essential safety knowledge and a quick overview of the terrain. Once you're at ease, we'll suit up, rev up the engines, and head straight into the mountains. It's a solo ride, giving you full command of your own ATV — no passengers, no sharing, just you and the trail, in complete control.
Out there, you'll ride through open meadows and tree-lined tracks with big mountain views around every corner. You'll feel the air get cooler as we climb higher, and you'll probably want to stop for a quick photo when the peaks come into view. It's not a sightseeing tour, but the scenery is hard to ignore.
After we make our way back down, you'll have time to relax and grab a made-to-order lunch at a mountain lodge, which is included with your ride. It's a nice way to wind down after a good push on the trail.
Transportation is available if you need it — it's complimentary from Vail, Beaver Creek, and Avon. There's an option from Summit County for an extra fee. Riders must be 18 or older and have prior ATV or off-road experience.
This isn't a beginner ride, but if you're up for a real challenge and want to see Colorado's backcountry the fun way, you'll love it.
